While I rule out nothing as a subject or possible approach to image-making, I lean toward the macro perspective and an abstract treatment of subjects.  Some of my pictures are the result merely of looking closely at a thing, and in other cases, I extend the act of looking to a more invasive cutting or breaking which provides a glimpse of things not typically seen.
